The Riches

FX has two of my favorite shows, The Riches and The Shield.  Last night the second season of The Riches started.  On Sunday, the New York Times ran an interesting story about Eddie Izzard.

Tucker Carlson’s show, “Tucker,” has been canceled by MSNBC.   Despite Carlson’s supercilious attitude and hectoring style, I mildly enjoyed the show.  What will be interesting about its replacement, a political show hosted by David Gregory, will be how Gregory’s show stacks up against Hardball.  Gregory is a honest-to-goodness journalist who isn’t afraid to ask hardhitting questions and to insist on answers.  Chris Matthews is a clown.  Journalist, clown.  Clown, journalist. This could get ugly.  Here’s hoping.
